She is highly valued as a colorectal surgeon for both women and men in particular for treating faecal incontinence, anal prolapse and anal pelvic floor dysfunction.
Dr Ellis-Clark obtained her Bachelor Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Newcastle in 1995 and further trained at leading hospitals in Australia including the Western Sydney Network, Prince of Wales Hospital and Royal Brisbane Hospital.

Jodie’s Philosophy

Dr Ellis-Clark is committed to destigmatising colorectal care for Australians.
She has for years treated many with colon cancer, and benign colorectal disease.

She has a special interest in treating faecal incontinence, an embarrassing and awkward condition that impacts one in 4 Australians, as well as colorectal pelvic floor conditions, like defaecatory issues.

While many people assume that faecal incontinence, like urinary incontinence, is part of old age, this is simply not the case and no amount of anal or urine leakage is normal.

Dr Ellis-Clark is dedicated to providing her patients with the compassionate, connected colorectal care and the most modern, minimally-invasive surgical techniques for bowel conditions.
